The system involves the creation of a flexible and adaptable solution, which through the use of Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) upgrades the business capability of the company, through the electronic processing and production of administrative information with the parallel development of a web portal to access information of both vendors, employees and management of the company and potential third parties.
The proposed system aims to:
- Assisting the management with the processing and utilization of information wealth from all productive information subsystems to provide business information in the following areas:
- the analysis and processing of the above data to support strategic decision making at management level.
- making available, in a usable form, part of the information from the company's IT systems to its sales staff via the Internet and to cooperating customers who would like to have an insight into the financial figures of their cooperation with the company.
- providing information, reports and indicators in order to achieve the extroversion of the company's operating system.
- to provide services to salespeople and business partners via Internet applications. The applications will be on a seven and twenty-four hour basis.
- in the management of up-to-date business data, with the ultimate aim of effectively supporting the policy decision-making process.
- ensuring the scalability of the system
- the use of international standards and practices wherever possible.
Updating to new data in the applications is done automatically, usually every evening and at scheduled times during the day so that it is ready for consumption. With this model it is achieved:
- Better security of data and information management,
- Shorter lead time to changes on initial scenarios,
- Access from wherever the user is located (inside - outside the company),
- Simultaneous use of scripts by multiple users,
- Simultaneous use of multiple scenarios by one user,
